Farwell New Construction
Designed by Gustavo Peno of PRDG Architecture & Design, a renowned architect with whom we regularly collaborate and built by Better Builders, this custom modular home brought his vision to reality, highlighting contemporary style and creative innovation. Built in sections offsite and assembled on a steep, “unbuildable” lot, the project required a complex foundation with H-piles driven 40 feet deep to stabilize the hillside.
While modular construction promised efficiency, the intricate process allowed for dramatic cantilevers and energy-efficient design. The result is a striking modern home perched above a challenging slope, offering breathtaking views of the Sound and redefining what’s possible with modular design.
